  • Vanport Jazz Festival from Friday, August 1 to Saturday, August 2: Come out to University of Portland campus and join visitors from throughout the United States to enjoy music, food, and merchandise vendors, as well as Oregon wine and spirits.

  • Oregon Chinese Festival on Saturday, August 2: Join the Oregon Chinese Coalition for the Chinese Festival in the Pioneer Square. Celebrate Chinese American culture and enjoy nonstop entertainment, delicious Chinese food, authentic arts and crafts, and much more.

  • Sneaker Week from Sunday, August 3 to Friday, August 8: This week-long celebration of all things footwear features Portland’s iconic shoe brands.

  • Bridge Pedal on Sunday, August 10: Join your friends and neighbors for one of Portland’s premier summer events. Providence Bridge Pedal is the one opportunity each year to bike on Portland’s car-free streets and bridges. The finish line will be by the waterfront and SW Ash Street.

  • Portland Burger Week from Monday, August 11 to Sunday, August 17: Hamburglars, it’s your time to shine. You have one week to see how many juicy burgers you can put away at an absolute steal ($10 each). You won’t get a trophy or anything, but you will have bragging rights among your fellow burger lovers and one very satisfied stomach.

  • India Festival on Sunday, August 24: Back at Pioneer Square this year, the all-day festival attracts over 10,000 visitors from all backgrounds. It never fails to delight with a fusion of free live music, dance, food, and entertainment.
